The application period for the BeefEX Scholarships closes Monday, August 29th. Â
The Angus Foundation will once again award two scholarships to give Angus Australia members the opportunity to participate in two days of thought-provoking talks at the 2022 BeefEX Conference, 18th-20th October hosted by ALFA (The Australian Lot Feeders’ Association), in Brisbane Qld. Â
An exciting program has been put together with speakers who have experience in both domestic and international beef markets headlining the program, as well as a deep dive into leadership, economics, innovation and the power of influencing. For more information CLICK HERE
BeefEX is well renowned for drawing together a wide variety of experts from the grain fed beef industry including but not limited to: nutritionists, veterinarians, backgrounders, regulators, service providers, transport operators and others involved in the grain fed industry and beef supply chain.Â
The aim of this scholarship is to:Â
- Increase the recipient’s knowledge of the Australian Feedlotting industry and the beef industry as a whole Â
- Allow recipients the opportunity to network with industry professionals Â
- Develop the recipient’s personal skillsÂ
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO ENTER
To be eligible for these scholarship’s, applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age. You must also be a current Angus Youth or Angus Australia financial member. Membership forms are available on the Angus Australia website. Each scholarship recipient will be provided with $1500 to assist in covering costs associate with attending the event, (for example; flights, accommodation and the event registration fee). Â
Registrations for the scholarships to attend BeefEX 2022 will close the 29th of August 2022.  Â
CONDITIONS OF RECEIVING THE SCHOLARSHIP:Â Â
The scholarship cannot be deferred, it must be taken up in the year it is awarded.Â
Within two weeks of returning, a full trip report must be given to the Angus Australia Foundation Â
